Terms of Service

The terms that apply to your use of this website and to any advisory engagement with E2Gx Mobility.

Effective from

1 January 2026

Last updated

30 April 2026

These terms govern your access to and use of the E2Gx Mobility website ("the Site"), and any advisory, certification, or programme engagement entered into with E2Gx Mobility ("we", "us", "our"). By using the Site or engaging our services, you agree to these terms.

1. About us

E2Gx Mobility is an operational transport advisory business focused on public transport systems across Africa. Our work covers network design, scheduling, operational readiness, performance recovery, fleet electrification, control systems, institutional capability, and the CABO certification framework.

2. Use of this website

You may use the Site to learn about our services, review our insights, submit enquiries, and explore our published content. You agree not to:

  • Use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or regulation;
  • Attempt to interfere with the normal functioning of the Site, including through denial-of-service activity, injection attempts, or automated scraping at scale;
  • Misrepresent your identity when submitting enquiries or otherwise communicating with us;
  • Reproduce, republish, or redistribute substantial portions of the Site's content without written permission.

3. Advisory engagements

Any advisory, certification, or programme engagement with E2Gx Mobility is governed by a separate written agreement. Nothing on this website constitutes an offer to provide services, and no engagement exists until an agreement is executed in writing by both parties.

Enquiries submitted through this Site do not, in themselves, create a contractual relationship. They are the starting point of a conversation that may lead to an engagement.

4. Intellectual property

All content on this Site — including text, graphics, logos, the CABO framework identity, pillar badges, operational methodology descriptions, and documentation — is the intellectual property of E2Gx Mobility or its licensors. It is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and related intellectual property laws.

You may cite limited excerpts with clear attribution. You may not reproduce complete articles, reports, or publications without written permission. Commercial use of any content requires a licence.

The CABO framework, its four-pillar G-O-E-A structure, and its certification identity are developed and stewarded by E2Gx Mobility. Use of the CABO name, pillar marks, or associated terminology is reserved.

5. Submissions and feedback

If you submit an enquiry, suggestion, or feedback through this Site, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to read, review, and act upon that submission for the purpose for which it was made. We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

We do not treat unsolicited submissions as confidential unless you have an existing confidentiality agreement with us.

6. Third-party links and content

The Site may reference or link to third-party websites, services, or publications. We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of third-party resources. Links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement.

7. Disclaimers

Content on this Site is provided for informational purposes only. It does not constitute operational, legal, engineering, financial, or regulatory advice, and should not be relied on as a substitute for formal advisory engagement.

We make no warranty, express or implied, that:

  • The Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or free of errors;
  • Content on the Site is accurate, complete, or current at all times;
  • Any specific outcome will result from applying methods or frameworks described on the Site.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, E2Gx Mobility is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of this Site or reliance on its content. Our total liability in connection with this Site is limited to the amount you have paid (if any) for accessing it — which is ordinarily zero.

This limitation does not affect any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, or liability arising under a separate advisory agreement, which is governed by that agreement.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or your use of the Site will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts.

Advisory engagements may specify different governing law and jurisdiction; the terms of the applicable engagement agreement prevail in that case.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Site after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

11. Contact

For questions about these terms, or to request permissions, please contact us through the contact form on this site. Identify your enquiry as a terms matter and we will route it to the appropriate person for a response.
